Mark Maki

Senior Pastor Mark Maki established the Walnut Valley Vineyard Church in July 2000 as a "church plant" sent out of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Anaheim. He had served in increasingly higher levels of responsibility as a Pastor at the Anaheim Vineyard (approximately 5000 members) since January 1994. While there he worked with Adult Education, Single Adult Ministry, Enfolding Ministry, Pastoral Care, Recovery Ministry and most recently, oversaw a portion of the staff and the facilities. Mark holds a B.A. in Political Science from U.C.L.A. and an M.A. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena. Julianne Maki

Julianne Maki holds a bachelors in Psychology from U.C.L.A.,as well as an M.A. in Special Education and an M.S. in Psychology from California State University of Los Angeles. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Brea. In January of 1988, she began to develop the program now known as Christian Adults in Recovery (CAIR) at the Anaheim Vineyard. She continues to oversee this program at the Walnut Valley Vineyard Church. Along with Mark and a team of leaders, she has spoken in the U.S., Canada, England and South Africa helping other churches to implement effective Recovery Ministry in their own settings. She also oversees the Women’s Ministry and provides her insights and skills as a valued member of the church leadership.
