Welcome to our church - we invite you to look around and get a feel for our church. Feel free to share any comments or questions that might be on your mind through our online guest book. If you're not currently a member of our church - we'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to our weekly service. And of course, feel free to reach out and call one of our Pastors. Many blessings to you, Pastor Mark Maki | John 20:21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit." |

Weekly Devotional
David expresses how difficult life can be when evil people try to destroy him. But he also says this: “When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?” (Ps. 56: 3-4). Are you afraid of someone else’s attitude towards you? Do they intimidate you? Spend time this week placing your trust in God. Repeat this verse as a prayer. Do you feel encouraged? Does God give you new insight on your situation? Write about it.

Weekly Devotional
Where do you go to meet with God? It can be very helpful to develop a “prayer closet;” a quiet and safe place where you go to meet with God on a regular basis. “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you” (Matt 6: 6). Think of arranging the seating and environment in a way that invites you to be comfortable in expressing yourself. Part of creating your prayer closet is finding a special time to be there. Often, the early morning can make a normally noisy spot into a place for quiet reflection. “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed” (Mark 1: 35).

In 2 Sam. 6: 14, we are told that “David danced with all his might before the LORD.” What do you suppose that looked like? This week, why not challenge yourself to go farther in expressing yourself than you have gone before. Find a solitary place where you will not be interrupted or embarrassed. Sing your favorite worship song to God. Allow yourself to get physically expressive with the song. That may be dancing, or it may be simply kneeling. Write about your experience.
